Based at the Nags Head public house at Clay Cross, our fortnightly meetings are where you will find a lot of useful information.
We also use the Community Room Stavely Fire Station for training and exams.
The Nags Head is on the High Street directly opposite the Iceland car park.
We meet every other Wednesday from 6:30 to approximately 8:30 ( see highlighted dates in Calendar ) in the private upstairs room.
We are in the process of erecting a permanent antenna to allow us transmit on 10,11,15,17,20 and 40 Meters and will soon be erecting an antenna to allow us to transmit on 2m and 70cms.
As we are licensed to use the 11mtr band none license holders can have the opportunity to have a go where they cannot do themselves on the normal Amateur Bands.
We have a wide range of members both male and female with ages ranging from teens to sixties and having experience from novice to full license holders, all of them willing to help with any questions or problems that you may have.
If you are interested in visiting us or taking one our courses, you can either email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can, of course, just turn up at the Nags Head where you will made very welcome.
